Vijay Modi, a billionaire, leaves his two wives and children, and lives in a seven-star hotel. He enjoys every bit of his life. He becomes a big industrialist by borrowing thousands of crores from banks.

He has three goals in his life: 1. to become popular, 2. to make a movie / become a movie star, and 3. to become a politician. In this process, he becomes a  benami for a minister and earns many friends and enemies. Unexpectedly, he is brutally murdered. Cops enter and unfold the mystery. It's a very simple comedy/thriller story.

But the interesting parts in this film are the selection of the names and the crazy get-up of Rajendra Prasad, who plays the lead role. His get-up is similar to Vijay Mallya, with tatoo in his hands, and his act resembles Nirav Modi. His first speech after he joins a political party will make the audience laugh out loud - lol. He fails to prove himself as a good politician, and the party expels him. The dialogues at some places are very sharp and catchy!

But the disappointing element in this movie is the investigation portion, which is carried out in a very casual manner. Of course, the movie is a comedy thriller, and we probably cannot expect serious investigations, like in Vijayakanth or Suriya movies.

At the same time, the clever climax twist and the unique characterisation of Vijay Modi's character are to be appreciated.

The movie was concluded with the dialogue, “two persons imitate us in our lives, one is our children, and the other one is the person who works under you”. This is the clue for the viewers who decide to watch this movie in the upcoming days!

To be frank, I thought of Actor Satyaraj throughout this movie. If this movie is remade in Tamil, only Sathyaraj can do this character well, in my humble opinion. No one can perform the comedy thriller role better than him!

I also wondered how there were no protests in Andhra Pradesh, for naming the main character Vijay Modi! Though the full name of the character is Vijay Modi, throughout the film, everyone calls him just as 'Modi'. Intentional, I assume! Had this movie been a Tamil one, I can only imagine

the reaction. If it is ever remade in Tamil, they will probably change the name of the main character!

I recommend watching this film, especially during this lockdown, when all of us are under stress. This movie will definitely bring your blood pressure down. For those who cannot follow Telugu, the subtitles are available in many languages!!
